What is Anger?

Anger is a normal human emotion that everyone experiences, often in response to feeling threatened, frustrated, treated unfairly, or hurt. In healthy amounts, it can be a useful signal that something needs attention or to change.

For some people, anger becomes harder to manage — flaring up intensely, frequently, or in ways that damage relationships, work, or wellbeing. Learning to recognise triggers and manage the response, rather than suppress the feeling entirely, tends to be the most effective approach.
